This is a commission request from ~ShadowWolvesForever for her character. She asked for a neutral, peaceful, sad-themed manipulation and... I am fairly pleased with the results, considering this is the first thing I've uploaded for a YEAR! =O

To me, nothing says sad like a barren, lonely forest infused with cool tones and cold lighting. The horse itself kind of was the inspiration for the color theme, because of the color (grulla). Speaking of, I had to completely recolor the entire horse as well as add to the markings that were already there to get the end result. I'm also fairly happy with the mane and tail... I think it's the best work I've done on hair in a long time, actually.
